Too often, I hear from creators and creatives that marketing their brand feels overwhelming. They don't have the time or skills, and it all just seems too hard. But here’s a truth that might surprise you: Marketing shouldn't be hard. In fact, it can be as simple and natural as having a chat with your dearest and most supportive friend.
The core intent of marketing is to create a relationship with your most loyal fans. It’s about connection, not just sales. Unfortunately, many people collapse marketing and sales into one, creating roadblocks for themselves. Let’s untangle that.
Imagine bumping into your best friend and them asking, "What have you been up to that's cool?" How would you answer?
